Spending twice the time and effort on our traditional refining method "Atozarashi" to maximize the absorbency of cotton.
The unique feature of our regional towel manufacturing (Senshu Towels) is "Atozarashi", a post-weave refining process. By washing and refinng after weaving, it removes the starch used during weaving as well as natural oils and impurities contained in the cotton fibers themselves. "YUKINE SARASHI" takes this process a step further by doubling the effort involved. This enhances the natural absorbency of the cotton to its fullest potential. Furthermore, with each wash, the towel becomes fluffier, softer, and gentler on the skin.
